- Ensure a high quality ecommerce data foundation with industry leading stability.
- Build or bring subject matter expertise in eCommerce, especially financial and operational data
- Gather data needs from reporting and analytics partners related to content on the website or the related content creation business processes.
- Translate needs into thoughtful and creative data solutions that can drive sustainable BI.
- Establish and manage cross-partner communication, inclusive of but not limited to technology, business partners, vendors, and internal development teams.
- Understand the complexity and challenges in working across a global team with multiple business partners while insuring adequate support for all systems and clients.
- Supports the research, analysis and development of new business processes, resulting in a set of recommendations for process change, and/or systems development projects.
- Understand the business to ensure strong service levels and satisfaction.
- Proactively recommend and institute process, tool, and methodology improvements based on industry best practices and present proposed solutions to various teams in the organization.
- Manages cross-partner communication, inclusive of but not limited to technology vendors and internal development teams.
- Maintain visibility across business and technology initiatives to optimize release schedules.
- Works with internal team members to identify opportunities and solutions for process improvement, and systems enhancements related to data and business intelligence. Prioritizes and gives direction to TTS to execute system fixes and enhancements.
- Interprets technology to develop new ideas that will lead to improvements in workload, communication and financial performance for Target.
- Partners with cross functional leaders to insure that all project dependencies and operational readiness criteria are met enabling a successful implementation of the system and process change.
- Communicates project objectives, progress and status to all levels of the organization.
Requirements
- Four year college degree
- Three to seven years of relevant work experience
- Proven ability to influence key business partners without authority
- Strong organization and planning skills
- Strong leadership and conflict management skills with a history of driving win-win, dual benefit solutions
- Ability to work in and lead through ambiguity
- Outstanding ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities and tasks
- Project and process management/ownership experience
- Ability to manage in a fast paced environment and work under stress and tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including through innovation and creativity
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain cross-functional and positive working relationships
- Computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel
- Data/Technology skills: Query Tool (SAS, SQL, AQT), Teradata, ETL
- Experience with eCommerce platforms, Retail data and metrics, and financials a plus.
