Leadership
- Oversees the daily work of Interactive Development team members, freelancers, contractors, and agency partners.
- Develop tea processes, policies and procedures
- Collaborates with the server-side development teams, interactive creative teams and project management teams
Design + Development
- Provides updates to estimates and add detailed technical designs for the production of interactive experiences
- Works with agency partners to determine best methods for efficiently and successfully delivering interactive experiences
- Designs, develops and implements client-side interactive experiences by utilizing Flash ActionScript, JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS, JSP and other technologies
- Consistently executes test plans and ensures the overall quality of experiences the team delivers
Other Responsibilities
- Researches and makes opportunities to learn new interactive development and production technologies as needed
- Creates training materials and conducts presentations to inform partners on key elements of interactive development and production
- Assists in solving challenges and delivering innovative new experiences with internal and external partners
Requirements
- 3 or 4 year degree and/or degree in computer science or related technical field
- 4+ years interactive development work experience
- Experience coding in HTML, JHTML, XML/XSLT, CSS, AppleScript, ActionScript and JavaScript
- Experience with Macintosh and PC platforms
- Experience with interactive design and development software including Flash, Photoshop, Image Ready, Dreamweaver and Illustrator
