About This Opportunity


Provide a Target branded experience with every interaction related to complaints, inquiries, and overall comments about their Target experience. Efficiently and effectively handle incoming guest contacts with high quality and professionalism, while achieving performance and service goals. Work toward continuous improvement in level of service and work processes. Interact with stores, districts and other key business partners to effectively handle and resolve guest issues. Appropriately establish relationships with guests by making strong connections and adding unexpected value to each guest experience. Enhance and deepen guest relationships while driving guest loyalty and sales. Provide support for internal team members regarding policy/procedures and system functionality.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provide a Target branded experience with every contact by listening and engaging the guest in order to deepen the relationship and drive loyalty.

· Support the initiative of developing and sharing business intelligence through accurate documentation and coding. Responsible for identifying, evaluating, and communicating guest trends to leadership in a prompt manner.

· Answers incoming calls from guests, store personnel, on-line guest services, and global vendor partners.

· Responds to emails, letters and social meda posts with clear and concise communication.

· Ability to deescalate an escalated guest concern.

· Handle media sensitive or potential legal issues and situations that involve extensive research or partnering with other key Target leaders.

· Respond to all written correspondence addressed to Target Executive Offices. Responsible for ensuring that all contacts reflect professionalism and the Target brand. Offer suggestions to streamline correspondence work processes to continually improve level of service and productivity standards.

· Handle advice calls for other TGR team members on guest resolution and research process.Analyzes system data and makes critical business decisions to enable store team members to service guests efficiently and according to policy and procedure guidelines, and to support exception authorization decisions.

· Use on-line resources and web based applications to assist and resolve guest issues.

· Develop a strong and complete understanding of policies and procedures, and support compliance.

· Interact with stores and other key business partners to effectively handle guest issues.

· Maintain department performance standards and goals related to performance, offers and quality service.

· Support new and existing projects and initiatives when appropriate.

· Complete outbound calling campaigns in a timely and efficient manner.

· Ability to quickly adapt to changing business needs (balancing phone and non-phone work).

· Ability to make independent decisions in accordance with Target policies and procedures

Job Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

· High school diploma or GED

· At least 1 year of previous guest service or Target experience

· Strong passion for delivering a great guest experience with every interaction

· Clear and concise communication skills

· Ability to interact with guests and internal business partners with the appropriate branded, friendly, empathetic and professional style

· Ability to effectively handle escalated calls from internal Team Members and/or Guests

· Ability to make supervisory decisions

· Active listening and problem solving skills

· Ability to use various information sources to answer questions, identify problems and appropriately escalate issues for accurate resolution when necessary

· Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends

· Computer proficiency

· Able to work independently without supervision

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:

· B.A. or B.S. degree

· Able to provide verbal and written bilingual Spanish support

· Previous store/merchandising experience

· Knowledge of Target policies and procedures

· Previous guest service or Target experience

· English, communication or journalism background

· Intermediate skill level of Microsoft applications
