- Contribute to program success by providing technical leadership on assigned enterprise-wide, complex initiatives
- Lead architectural efforts on large programs or portfolios by translating partner needs to technical solutions across platforms, services architecture standards and plans, total cost of ownership and feasibility
- Articulate architecture vision and proactively sells that vision to stakeholders.
- Direct the development of future enterprise architecture across business areas and across platforms and services
- Lead architecture principles for the various infrastructure platforms, services, or portfolio based on design patterns
- Lead the identification and proof of concept for new platform or service technologies

Develops technological roadmaps while keeping up to date with emerging technologies and recommends business directions based on these technologies
- Researches new technologies to assist in establishing the architectural vision for IT systems
- Reviews new products to ensure the architecture conforms to established direction and documents and presents issues to leadership
- Knowledgeable in all aspects of designing and constructing information architectures that enable informational and analytical management inquiry of well-integrated, subject-oriented historical data
- Derives computer solutions and computer design based on the business solutions for projects of large complexity
- Works with team members to mentor and educate them on technical or architectural issues
- Understands and can calculate and communicate the financial impacts of technology solutions and their impact to the overall IT architecture
- Develops business cases for the introduction of new technologies while balancing Operational impacts with technical advancements
Requirements
BA/BS or equivalent experience
Has a working knowledge of designing and constructing infrastructure platform architectures (server, network, desktop, database, systems management)
- Ability to stay current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education
- Ability to convey technical solutions clearly to the entire organization
- Ability to provide work direction to a small team as needed
